Welcomer duties
It is the aim of the welcome to make the evening and enjoyable event for everyone.
- Arrive in good time to put out the regalia, gavel etc
- Greet guests and visitors
- Introduce the speaker to the President
- Ask visitors to sign the visitors book
- Collect monies for the evening and pay the hotel when the Treasurer is absent.
- Keep the receipt for the Treasurer – only if we have a guest that night
- Distribute magazines and papers – and mark up the remaining for those missing
- Clear the items back into the box
